What exactly is GSVP?
GSVP is Europe’s largest gay site bringing together gay singles from Russia to Ireland, from Norway to Turkey. We let our members place detailed personal profiles of themselves, featuring searchable details such as:
- location
- height
- type of relationship they’re looking for
- star sign
Once you’ve narrowed down the potential profiles to review, you can browse through them in full. If you find someone interesting you can contact them using our anonymous email feature, start a chat session with our IM service or send them a virtual kiss to let them know you’re interested.
To help members really get a taste of your true personality, GSVP also provides members with the ability to upload a short video profile. Video chat is also available through integration with Skype.
GSVP also has extra features not available through traditional personal advertisements. You can:
- conduct two-way searches - only returning profiles to you if the person meets your criteria and you meet theirs!
- find people using our Cupid function. Cupid automatically checks all new members at the end of each day to see if someone new who suits you has joined the service. If Cupid finds someone for you, GSVP will let you know via email.
- start a one to one instant messaging session with someone you like.

How do I use GSVP?
As a guest, you can explore the site to see what we have to offer and also have a look through the profiles of our members. Use the navigation panel at the left to move about the site. Home will bring you back to this page.
- Join is where you can join the service as a full member (FREE).
- Subscription is where members can pay to enable use of all of the GSVP features.
- Search lets you tell the service what sorts of people you’re interested in and then we’ll check our database and show you the profiles of anyone who matches your criteria.
- Browse lets you browse through the profiles on the GSVP database based on limited criteria.
- Top 100 displays the top 100 female and male profiles. The Top 100 is changed daily and members are ranked based on the interest their profile creates on the site and a number of special criteria.
- My Profile is where you enter your information so that other members can find you!
- My Contacts section is where you can keep track of your communication with other members.
- Events details all of the social events taking place across Europe.
- Cupid is where you tell us the sort of person you’re looking for generally. We’ll use this information to search each night through our new members, just in case someone joins who fits your preferences. If they do, we’ll send you an email letting you know. This way you don’t even have to log in to GSVP to keep up to date on who’s here!
- Help provides answers to some of the most common questions asked by users of GSVP.
- Account Details allows you to view and update your account information.
- Settings is where you can change your user preferences.
- Logoff will log you off the service.
